The company initiated the #Hairdressers4Hairdressers campaign seeking hairdressers, salons and schools to participate in a Nation-wide Cut-A-Thon to raise money for the Professional Beauty Industry’s Disaster Relief Fund. All proceeds went to their relief efforts to help hairdressers restore their businesses and livelihood. More than 17 CHI Partner Schools committed to the Cut-A-Thon. Shami donated $5 million in products and tools to various shelters, churches, organizations, stylists and salons.
